Are you experiencing a crash while you’re playing Clash Royale on your phone, so you’re wondering why your Clash Royale game keeps crashing?
As there is a difference between IOS and Android devices in both their functionality and specs, the causes of the issue could be different.
The most obvious reason why your Clash Royale game keeps crashing is that your device doesn’t meet the minimum requirements of the game for Android devices; If you have an iPhone, the reason is probably you’re using a jailbroken device.
There are other several reasons that could lead the game to crash at specific times, like after playing multiple battles, or once you lunch the game.
So today, I will teach you why your Clash Royale keeps crashing and how to fix it.
Why Does My Clash Royale Keep Crashing?
The main reason why your Clash Royale keeps crashing is that your phone doesn’t have 0.5 GB of Ram, which could make your phone slower while running the game.
As the app works with your phone’s operating system it has some requirements to run smoothly, like any other game.
Here are the most obvious reasons why your Clash Royale keeps crashing:
- Your phone Ram is lower than 0.5 GB;
- Clash Royale is out of date;
- You’re using a jailbroken iPhone;
- The Android version on your device is lower than 4.1.
So if you have an Android phone like Nexus, Tecno, Infinix and other devices that has a low Ram capacity, this could be the problem, despite having a high-speed internet connection.
This means your phone could be the problem in most cases.
How To Fix Clash Royale When It’s Crashing?
To fix Clash Royale when it’s crashing on your device, close all the apps that are running in the background including Clash Royale if it’s still running.
Then you need to try again and see if it’s still crashing.
For iPhone users, you may be using a jailbroken device, you need to use a tweak called FlyJB X.
However, if your phone is not jailbroken, then you need to uninstall then reinstall the game.
Keep in mind to follow the steps below, it’s highly suggested to stay signed in to your SuperCell ID.
In case you need to uninstall or clear the game data, you may risk losing the game data if you’re not signed in to SuperCell.
1.Use FlyJB X if you are using a Jailbroken iPhone
Download a Tweak called FlyJB X on your iPhone, then open it.
Once it opens, you’ll see multiple menus including “FlyJB X, Dobby, and List”.
So start by turning ON the switch of “Activate FlyJB”.
If the Enable Dobby is turned ON, you need to turn it OFF.
After that, you need to tap on “Bypass List”, and on the new page search for the Clash Royale game and switch the toggle ON, then try playing the game again.
If Clash Royale keeps crashing, you need then to tap on the “Optimize List” and turn the Clash Royale switch ON.
2.Close all the running apps in the background
It’s important to close all the running apps in the background, especially for Android users.
So if the device specs are low, like the Rams are lower than 0.5 GB, you need to make sure you’re not running other apps while playing the game, then try playing the game again.
As the other apps may use some of the Ram capacity while the operating system is already using also some of it.
So it’s recommended to use a 2 CPU core device with at least 1 GB of Ram if the game keeps crashing.
Otherwise, you’ll keep having the same issues with Clash Royale.
3.Clear the App Data and Cache on Android Devices
Make sure that you’re signed in to your SuperCell ID on the game before doing this step.
To clear the App Data on your device, open the Settings page.
On the Settings page scroll, all the way down until you see the Search Box.
Then search for “Apps”, and tap on the Apps option when you see it.
When the new page opens, find the Clash Royale game by either scrolling down until you find it or searching for it in the search box.
After you find it, tap on it, then on the new page, tap on “Storage”.
Then you’ll see two options which are “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”, so tap on both of them to clear all the app data, then try playing the game again.
4.Uninstall then reinstall the app
In some cases, you’ll need to uninstall the app as the only solution to fix the issue.
This solution comes after failing with the 3 steps above.
But you need to make sure before attempting to do so that you are signed in to your SuperCell ID.
Otherwise, you’ll lose all the app data upon the deletion of the game.
So uninstall then reinstall the Clash Royale, then try opening it again.
5.Clear your device’s storage
One of the common causes that Clash Royale keeps crashing on both iPhone and Android devices is the fulfilled storage.
When you don’t have enough space on your device, you will face difficulties in running such types of games smoothly.
So if you’ve run out of space, but you’re quite not ready to buy a new phone, you can fix this issue by going to your device Settings.
Then search for “Storage” and tap on the storage option to see more information about it.
After that, tap on “Free up space” or “Clean Up”, as it differs between Android devices and iPhones.
Finally, when you get some extra space in your phone, restart it, and try playing Clash Royale again.
Why Does It Take So Long for Clash Royale to Load?
Because the game is either not exchanging data correctly with your device’s Ram or your Internet connection is slow.
This issue is very similar to when the Clash Royale keeps crashing.
So in order to solve this issue, you need to:
- Close all the running apps;
- Clear the Clash Royale App data files on the Settings;
- Get a better internet connection.
