However, if you don’t see any results, this means the username you entered doesn’t exist or the Twitter account was disabled.
In addition to that, sometimes the target account may be restricted.
So you may receive a notification about this, but you can open their account normally.
Now, if you don’t know the username of the person, or you don’t have any additional info, then you can follow the two methods below.
How To Find Someone on Twitter Without Username
To find someone on Twitter without their username, tap on the “Magnifier” result, then add their name only.
After that, you will get suggested results with a drop-down menu on the search bar.
However, there are two methods that you can try to get to know if you will be able to find the person or not.
So it’s worth it to try these two methods below.
Method #1: Using the Twitter Mobile App
On your Twitter app, tap on the “Magnifier” icon, at the bottom of the screen.
Then search for the person by typing their name, and wait for the suggested results to show up.
But if you want to get more results, then you have to tap the “Magnifier” icon on your keyboard.
This will take you to the results page, so you will get all the content results related to the search query that you’ve entered, which you can filter if you like.
However, to find someone without their username, you have to select the “People” menu on the Twitter search page.
So, selecting the “People” menu will show you all the people that have a Twitter account.
Now to narrow down the results, you can tap on the “Switcher” icon, near the search box.

Then search for Twitter in the Search Box, and you will get all your Twitter history.
This will help you find the account name you forgot, that you’ve already visited in the past.
If you don’t find any convenient result, then you have to try Google Search.
So to find someone on Twitter using Google Search, type their name in the Search Box.
Then type “Twitter” near their name, and hit the “Enter” button.
If you get the desired results, then click on the link, and you will find the account.
Otherwise, the person’s Twitter account may not be findable.

To find someone on Twitter by phone number, open your Twitter app, then tap on your Profile Picture and tap on “Settings and privacy”.
