1.Download the CapCut app
First, you need to download the CapCut app.
It’s available for both Android and iPhone.
After downloading the app, you can start the process to make your clips longer on the TikTok sound sync.
However, you can enable the “Auto Sync” if you want on the TikTok app.
But the clip will not get synced exactly with the sound, there will always be a difference.
2.Add your clips
Now that you’ve opened the app, and you’re ready to add your videos you can start.

To do so, tap on “Sign in with TikTok”.
Now tap on “Authorize” to link CapCut to your TikTok account.
After that, you’ll be able to find your favorite sounds when you tap on the “Star” icon.
4.Create multiple “Beats”
When you find the desired sound, tap on the “+” button to add it.
Then it will be added to your video timeline.
Now you need to tap on the sound that you’ve added.
A new menu then will open at the bottom of the page.
Tap on the “Match Cut” icon.
Then you’ll get redirected to the page where you can start adding the Beats.
Now tap on the “Play Icon” to start listening to the sound.
To add a beat to your sound’s beat drop, tap on the “+ Add Beat”.
This feature will help you to add beats as points on the sound timeline so that you can switch between videos by looking at the point where the beat drop is happening.

Finally, when you’ve added all the beats (Points) to your sound timeline you can get back to the video.
To confirm the changes, tap on the verified icon.

So adjust the videos in a way that the end of each video gets to the “Beat” point that you’ve created.
To do so, you can tap at the corners of each video and drag them to adjust the duration and change the start and end time.

Then, when you’re ready, tap on the “Upload” icon at the top right of the screen to share your video.

How to Sync Pictures With Sound on TikTok
To sync your Pictures with sound on TikTok, you need to add the pictures on the CapCut app, then add the desired sound.
After doing so, you can adjust the length of each picture to meet the sound beat drops.
This method has the same concept as the method above.
1.Add your pictures to the CapCut app
Tap on the “+ New Project” to open the gallery page.
Then on the new page tap on the “Photo” menu.
A new page will open with all the pictures that you can select.
On that page, select the desired photos, then tap on “Add”.
2.Sync the pictures with sound
When you tap on “Add” you’ll get to the video timeline page.
On that page, you’ll find the pictures grouped on the timeline as clips.
Now tap on the “Audio” icon, then tap on “Sounds” to add the sound that you wish.
When you find the sound tap on the “+” icon to add it to your timeline.
Then on the timeline page, you need to edit the pictures and make them longer or shorter.
To do so, you need to tap on the right or left corner of each picture clip to adjust the duration and make it sync with the TikTok sound directly.
3.Post your video on TikTok
When you finish editing your pictures and sounds, you need to tap on the “Share” icon at the top right of the screen.
On the new page tap on “Share on TikTok”.
Then you’ll have to edit the video on TikTok before sharing it.
Why Sound Sync Is Not Available in Default Mode on TikTok
TikTok doesn’t have a sound sync on the default menu, so when you tap on “Default” you’ll only be able to adjust the length of the clips to make them shorter or longer.
The “Default” feature is an alternative way on TikTok to adjust your video length without sound sync.
If you like to get the sound synced with your clips you need to use a 3rd party app like CapCut.
TikTok Sound Sync vs Default
Sound Sync is to sync sounds with your video automatically by tapping on “Auto-sync”.
Another way to use the Sound Sync is manually by selecting your preferred sound from the TikTok library.
But you can’t adjust the video length to make it longer and sync it with the sound using the TikTok sound sync.
You need to use a 3rd party app if you wish to do so.
Now, the “Default” option allows you only to adjust the length and the duration of each video.
But it’s done without having any sound.
