Are you searching for already deleted tweets on Twitter, and you can’t find them? So you are wondering how to see deleted tweets.

There are 4 best methods to find and see the deleted tweets by using 3rd party apps.

Whether they are your tweets or someone else’s deleted tweets.

So if you’ve already deleted tweets by mistake, or you just want to retrieve them back.

You can get a copy of your Twitter data from the archives.

Otherwise, if you want to see someone’s deleted tweets, there are 3 other methods to apply.

Today, I will teach you how to see deleted tweets by applying 4 easy methods.

How To See Deleted Tweets

To see deleted tweets on Twitter, visit the Twuko website and click on the “Search” icon to type the username of the account you want to check its tweets.

Then hit the “Enter” button to start searching and getting the results.

However, if you are the person who deleted the tweet and want to recover it back, the fastest way is by requesting your Twitter data archive.

You can do it on your Twitter account settings directly.

Method #1: Using Twuko Website

Search and find deleted tweets on Twitter using the Twuko website

Go to the Twuko website using your PC or Mobile phone.

Then click on the “Search” icon to start searching for an account.

When you click on the search icon, you will get the search box in front of you.

So, type the username of the account you want to see its deleted tweets.

Keep in mind that you can type the name with an “@” or without, it doesn’t cause any problem.

But consider at least a well-known account that has a minimum of 1000 followers to get results.

Because sometimes new Twitter accounts aren’t yet crawled to see you their deleted tweets.

Now, when you type the name of the account, hit the “Enter” button and wait for a few secs.

Then you will get all the results related to that account.

So find the account you are searching for, then click on any tweet you want to get into their account.

Therefore, the Twitter profile page of the account will open, and you will see all the recent and deleted tweets.

Method #2: Requesting Your Twitter Archive

Requesting archives for data account

To request and download an archive of your Twitter data, open your Twitter account using your PC.

Then click on the “Circle with three dots”.

A menu will show up, so click on the “Settings and privacy” option.

Then the Twitter settings page will open.

When the settings page opens, you will see that you are already on the “Your Account” page.

So find the “Download an archive of your data” and click on it.

Then, Twitter will ask you for your account’s password to verify it’s you.

Add your password and click on next.

A new popup will show up with two options on it, which is verifying your account by receiving a code on your email or phone number.

So choose the option that you like.

In our case, we’ve selected the email option.

Therefore, after receiving the verification code on your phone or email, copy it and paste it on the Twitter popup and click on “Next”.

After that, click on “Requesting archive”, then you will get a confirmation message.

So wait for 24 hours and Twitter will send you a notification to check your data and see your deleted tweets on Twitter.

Additionally, you will receive an email with the account data archive.

So you can download them from your Twitter account or your email inbox.

Method #3: See Deleted Tweets Using the Wayback Machine Website

Visit the Wayback Machine website to see deleted Twitter account

One of the well-known methods is to use the Wayback Machine website.

Which is known as an internet archive website.

So using these types of websites will help you find and see older deleted tweets.

As the Wayback Machine website has a huge archive of data.

To see the deleted tweets, visit the website first.

Then on the landing page, paste the Twitter account URL which is for example “Twitter.com/yakoben21”.

Also, make sure to get a well-established account, but you can give it a try for a new account to check out.

So when you enter the URL of the account, hit the “Enter” button.

Then you will get a calendar on a new page.

Now, if the account is archived on the Wayback Machine website, you will see a small blue circle on the days of the month.

These circles will get bigger if Wayback Machine made more than one snapshot of the Twitter account.

So to see the deleted tweets, click on the day that you want to get its snapshot.

Then a small popup will show up with the time of when the crawling snapshot was made.

Click on the time you want to check its archived snapshot, then a new Twitter page will show up.

Finally, you can scroll down and check the tweets to see the deleted ones that you are searching for.

Note that you can switch between the day of the months at the top right of the page.

Method #4: Checking Twitter’s Advanced Search

Use advanced search to find and see deleted tweets

To save time, you can search directly for tweets using the Twitter advanced search method to check if they are still on Twitter.

So to start with this method, open the advanced search banner on Twitter.

Then start filling the fields with the keywords that you think might get you to the desired results.

However, we highly recommend that you make it simple when filling the fields.

For example, go to the account section, and add the name of the account you want to reach in the first empty field which is the “From these accounts”.

This will help you to see if the tweets of the account are still there, or they’ve been deleted.

Then scroll down to the end and add the date that you want to check.

And click on the “Search” button to search for the result.

So these two filters will narrow the result and save you a lot of time to confirm if the tweets are still available or not.

However, in this way, you will get faster and accurate results on your searches.

Conclusion

Searching for deleted tweets is a challenge when the account you are looking for is not a famous account.

However, you can find the deleted tweets of famous accounts easily.

So when you use 3rd party internet archives websites, like Wayback Machine and Twuko, you will likely get results.

Also, using the Twitter advanced search feature will help you to see if the tweets aren’t deleted.
