TikTok stitch is a fun feature that you might use when you want to interact with your friends and grow your audience.
Stitch begins with a 5-second clip of the target video, then the rest of the video is up to you to record and fill with your opinion or reaction, and so on.
The best way to do it is by posting the video on your TikTok drafts as a private video to be able to stitch with it.
It’s important to know also that the video needs to be saved in your camera roll.
After stitching with the video you can repost it on TikTok easily.
However, the Stitch and Duets are different, but they have similarities in the concept of combining videos together.

TikTok Stitch vs Duet
TikTok stitch allows you to combine two videos ideally by showing them in order, and showing your reaction or opinion before the stitch ends.
The first part of the stitch consists of the target video that you would like to react to or comment on.
The next part is the part where you show your reaction.
However, TikTok Duet is posting your video alongside another creator’s video on TikTok.
You can also show your reaction and comment at the same time while the video is playing.
So when you start a duet on TikTok, the video will split into two parts or multiple parts depending on what you select.
Then you’ll be able to show your reaction throughout the video.
TikTok stitch is one of the ways where you can express your reaction and share it with other users.
This rule also applies to the TikTok duet, but with a slightly different concept.
However, to stitch with a saved video on TikTok, you need to post the video on your profile drafts privately, then stitch with it and repost it.
To add a sound to the same stitch or any other stitch, you need to save the video to your camera roll and upload it to TikTok to add your preferred sound then post it.
So today you’ve learned how to stitch on TikTok with a saved video and how to add a sound to a stitch.
