So do you want to know how to fix this error?
If you are excited about a topic on TikTok and you start following a lot of accounts fast.
This will alarm TikTok algorithm that maybe you are a robot who is making unusual activity.
Today I will show you the solution for the “TikTok you’re following too fast” error and how to fix it.
What is the “You’re Following Too Fast” error?
The “You’re following too fast” error means you have followed a lot of people in a small amount of time.
In other words, you have reached the following limit of each account on TikTok.
So when you follow accounts so quickly you will get this error after a while.
Sometimes TikTok app can get a server problem which causes you to receive that error.
However, a lot of activity at once even on other social media platforms will show up a similar error.
For example on Instagram doesn’t allow a mass following to happen on their app.
Why am I seeing a “You’re Following Too Fast” error message?
You may have received the “TikTok you’re following too fast” error because you were following a lot of people very fast.
However, TikTok tends always to protect its app from spammy activity.
This is why they will send you that error, and they will stop you from following people for a specific amount of time.
So if you follow more than 100 accounts in less than an hour, you will get that error.
It can also reduce your other activities on TikTok.
But it’s recommended to follow on average 400 to 700 accounts daily, which means 20 to 30 accounts per hour.
How long does your following too fast last?
To be honest, the error can last a maximum of 30 minutes in some cases.
But for some users, it can take up to 3 days over a block.
However, there is no specific time that each user can have.
This will depend on how you are acting when you follow other people.
So TikTok will block your activities depending on how the algorithm will read your actions.
This is why it’s important to wait at least one minute between each follow.
In my case, I made a new TikTok account, then started to follow a lot of people randomly in an interval of 30 minutes.
After following 199 accounts I got the error before reaching the 30 minutes.
So I waited for like an hour, then tried to start following again and I was able to do so.
How to get rid of your following too fast on TikTok?
To get rid of the “TikTok you’re following too fast” error, you have to first stop following people.
Then wait for a specific amount of time, depending on how much time TikTok decided to block you.
So these four important actions will stop the error from popping up on your screen.
1.Stop Following Users
You have to stop your follow activity, at least for 30 minutes.
Take a rest and try after 30 minutes to find out what if you will get the error again.
If you got the error again then you have to wait more time.
So try to not be hasty, because if you got the error again it may take you a lot more time.
2.Don’t Follow People Randomly
It’s important to follow accounts that you are really interested in.
Following a lot of random accounts will disturb your TikTok feed, and can sometimes show you videos that you are not interested in.
3.Wait for the next 24 hours
If you can wait for 24 hours this will be awesome.
So if you are a new user this will help TikTok to understand you’re not a robot.
But if you were an old account user, it’s better to get back after 1 day.
Because TikTok will think that a new account who is following too fast is a robot.
However, there is a lot of bots who are generated to make such actions in order to grow their accounts fast.
4.Never Try to Automate Your TikTok
A lot of social media bots are there, but this will risk your account from being permanently banned.
As TikTok is strict about automation restrictions.
Instead, if your goal is to grow your TikTok account, you can follow accounts manually.
So you will get follow backs from other accounts also.
And guess what.
After following 199 accounts I got 7 organic followers in just an hour.
This means you can grow your account organically without automation.
Conclusion
Following a lot of accounts too fast on TikTok can hurt your profile, and reduce your organic appearance.
So when you get the “You’re following too fast” error there is no another option than to take a break.
However, the best solution is to follow accounts slowly like 25 in 30 minutes.
Finally, if you never want to receive this error again, do the 4 advice above.
