On that popup, you’ll see “Report, Block, Remove Friend, Edit Name”.
To remove your friend, tap on “Remove Friend”.
Then they will be removed from your friends’ list.
You can alternatively “Block” them if you’re not planning to see them on your friends’ list again.
4.Check if the “Too Many Friends” still occurs on your Snapchat
After removing your friend, you can now check again if you’re still getting the “Too Many Friends” message.
Some users were still getting the issue even after removing their friends.
So the solution is to close the app completely by removing it from the running apps.
Alternatively, you can uninstall and then reinstall the app.

The reason why you can’t add more friends on Snapchat is that you’ve reached the daily limit, which is 130 per day. So you need to wait for 24 hours after getting the “Too Many Friends” message, then try again.
